Our Experience
Established by John B. Anderson in 1993, J.B. Anderson Land Use Planning is a full-service Land Use and Environmental Planning Firm serving public and private sector clients in the Central Valley and Sierra Nevada Foothills. Our Clientele range from local agencies (i.e. Municipal Agencies and Special Districts) to local and national homebuilders and developers. Currently, our Firm’s primary focus is our public agency clients, as we provide Planning services and staffing for the cities of Mountain House, Lathrop, Riverbank, Oakdale, Hughson, Waterford, Livingston, and Merced. In addition, our Firm is engaged in various projects in the cities of Manteca, Los Banos, Patterson, acting as a supplement to Planning staff in an effort to streamline the land use entitlement process.

Our firm supports a highly educated staff with experience in Urban Planning, Design, Public Policy Development and Land Use Entitlements. We keep apprised of current and ongoing constraints brought forth by local, county, state, and federal entities. We possess a strong ability to negotiate and steer through today’s land development projects.

We process Entitlement Applications, investigate feasibility with Due Diligence, and provide aid in ensuring reimbursement for Clients.
Air Quality Permitting
We prepare and process Authority to Construct (ATC permits) and Permit to Operate (PTO permits) for agricultural and industrial projects.
Expert Witness Testimony
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Anderson has provided Expert Witness services to a whole host of Private and Public Clients.
